Editorial policy & AI methodology

How content is produced, where estimates are used and how to report errors.

News and facts

Briefings are independently written from available raw match facts. Unconfirmed injuries, lineups, transfers and quotations are not treated as established facts. Illustrations are not event photographs. Language versions should share the same factual basis.

AI and modelling

AI organizes the analysis. The existing base probability model uses Premier League season results, goals and home/away performance. Its probabilities, backtests and hit rates apply only to the disclosed Premier League sample, not automatically to the Champions League, Europa League, EFL Cup or La Liga.

Content for other competitions is independently generated from available facts for those competitions, with evidence, cutoffs and missing fields disclosed. Without a suitable model or sufficient data, probabilities, historical hit rates and player performances are not invented. Articles present supporting and contrary evidence, scenarios and limitations. Predictions guarantee neither outcomes nor returns.

Publication and review limits

Content is saved as a draft, then checked against a saved match-data snapshot for all three language versions, sources, cutoffs, fixture identity, scores and evidence versions. Failed checks block publication. After validation, an operator must explicitly publish the draft. No continuous automatic publication job is currently configured; regular updates require an operator to arrange and check them.

Automated validation checks structure and consistency with recorded facts. It does not establish article-by-article review by a professional journalist or licensed analyst, nor does it prove that supplier data is correct. Original publication times, revision times and data cutoffs are retained. Existing article links remain available, and publication snapshots are kept for editorial checks; the website does not yet provide version comparisons.

A preview needs review when kickoff has passed, match status changes or a source is corrected. Archived previews remain historical records and are not rewritten as retrospective predictions. Missing injuries, lineups, match statistics or suitable models are disclosed rather than invented.

Corrections

Use the contact page with the affected URL, issue and verifiable source. A receipt is issued and the record is stored on this site server for operator review. There is currently no automatic email receipt, promised response deadline or public corrections archive.

Commercial relationships

The current release has no paid promotions, membership billing or advertising transactions. Any future sponsored content should be labelled on the relevant page.
